Technical Assistance for Facilitators

After registering for training via the INFANT website, if you are eligible, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from the INFANT team.

One to two weeks before your training session begins, you will receive an email from FutureLearn (from the email address please.do.not.reply@futurelearn.com) with instructions for how to access the training course, as well as an email from the INFANT team.

Please make sure you also check your junk/spam folders for these emails.

If you have not received your email or cannot log in, please consult their FAQs or contact us using this form.

1. Click on ‘For facilitators’ in the top navigation bar of this website, then ‘Facilitator log-in’.

2. Enter the email you registered with and the password you set.

Your FutureLearn login provides you access to the facilitator training course (hosted on the Future Learn).

Your infantprogram.org login provides you access to facilitator resources and the forums/community of practice (on the INFANT website). This is where all the INFANT resources will be kept and your access will be ongoing.

2. Please click ‘Forgot your password’ (which takes you here)

3. You will be taken to a new page. Please enter the email address that you used to register to attend the training (this is your username).

4. You will be then sent an email with instructions to reset your password.

2. Log in to your facilitator account (see ‘How do I log onto the INFANT faciliator section’)

3. Go back to the ‘For Facilitators’ tab, clink on this and you will now see more options.

4. Click ‘Facilitator resources’ to access the session guides, parent handouts etc. The page appears like this. Click the links to download the pdfs.

2. Go back to the ‘For Facilitators’ tab, clink on this and you will now see more options.

3. Click ‘Forums’ to see the discussion topics. Click to enter specific sections and post your comments and questions. This is designed to be a shared space for those who have done the INFANT training to share their experiences with INFANT implementation.  

Yes, these courses are different, but both are from Deakin University and are hosted on the Future Learn platform.

Our training course called ‘INFANT program: Training for community implementation’ is led by Professor Karen Campbell, and is for staff interested in implementing the INFANT program in their local area. It is a closed-course, which means it is not open to the public and does not show up in searches.

Registrations for this course are via the INFANT website here.

The open-access course called ‘Infant Nutrition: from Breastfeeding to Baby’s First Solids’ is also led by Professor Karen Campbell. This course, however, is offered at set times in the year and is open for anyone to join – parents and health professionals. Learn what good infant nutrition looks like, how and what to feed a baby, and how to start weaning.

Registrations are via https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/infant-nutrition.

To navigate through the training more smoothly, we recommend the following:

• Open links by right-clicking and opening in a new window. The course will remain open in your web browser and this will make it easier to progress through the activities in the course.
• Sign in to the facilitator section of the INFANT website in another web browser window and select ‘remember my credentials’ so that you do not need to log in every time.

• To view the videos, you’ll need a connection with a consistent speed of 1.5Mbps. See this knowledge article for video and audio troubleshooting.
• If you are unable to view the videos, locate the session videos via the MBN app rather than the INFANT website
• In the MBN app, go to ‘topics’ and then to ‘Tips for healthy growth and development’. This seciton reflects the INFANT messages and contnet. When in this seciton, select the tips for the relevant age range, then scroll to ‘videos’.
